This is an expanded version of the APC1 synth found below, including more filter options, distortion, and modulation via 3 LFO's, 4 step sequencers, and the combiner module from the noisebot synths. Think of it as a groovebox for crazy synth fx. It can also be coerced into lo-fi squelchy bassline territory, though due to it's nature, tuning can be tricky.
This has been rebuilt to include features developed for the noisebot synths. The sound sources here are two APC-style oscillators.
- 01-19-10: complete overhaul
A rather simple noise machine inspired by the classic Atari Punk Console, aka Stepped Tone Generator, originally designed by Forest Mims III. Best when tweaked or automated, as otherwise it just puts out a steady tone. Includes a basic on-off MIDI gate and a highpass filter for added usefulness.
- 01-23-10: recompiled with SE v1.1. Added choice of filter types.
